Pulse Lab
Test all six PulseTime clocks, compare everyday signals, and build personal vibration patterns. No watch or pairing needed.
Install the phone test build
Install this APK on an Android phone. It is separate from the PulseTime phone companion and Wear OS app, so it will not replace either one.
Google Play beta: Prefer Play Store updates to sideloading? Join the Coolhand beta group first (I’d really appreciate it). I’ll add this app’s opt-in link here when its Play beta is ready.
Installing on Android: Tap Download phone-only test APK, open the downloaded file, and allow installs from this source if Android asks. If Android blocks installation, tap Advanced, then Install anyway.
What you can test
Try all six time systems, calibrate comfortable strength, compare signal building blocks, and run mixed blind tests. Pulse Lab records confidence, replays, test context, and which meanings get mixed up.
The library includes twelve fictional signals for messages, weather, markets, calendars, transit, exercise, home events, software status, and live games. You can also arrange short pulses, long pulses, strength levels, and pauses into a personal pattern.
Help improve the signals
Blind-trial results record the pattern and settings used. The feedback form asks what you felt, what you thought it meant, how clear it was, and whether TalkBack or navigation got in the way. Those details help improve rhythm, duration, strength, and the overall signal design.
Pulse Lab works offline. It sends nothing by itself. Feedback leaves the app only when you choose Android's share sheet.
